Look, a lot of those ads out there are professing huge dollars. $250k! $500k (with $167k base). Blah blah blah. How do you know what you're getting? Looks exciting, right? I'd be excited if I saw them, too.
But here's the thing... You're only going to get what you are going to earn. Doing that much dentistry is not easy...especially right out of school. But it is DEFINITELY possible.
I have an amazing opportunity where my lead doc of a $2M office (1 doc, 2 hyg, 4 days/week) is branching off and buying his own practice. It's always been an aspiration for him and his wife to have their own practice, so I'm happy for him. But he made $360k in 2021 and $397k in 2022. He has been out of school for 5 years, worked 4 days a week, and didn't have to carry the weight of ownership, including HR.
But now, his spot is open. I'm going to go be primary doc for now while I find someone else to take it. I have multiple practices with wonderful and highly-motivated teams, with the highest Google reviews in the area, and a growing reputation in the area.
Not everybody qualifies. I have had some dentists come and we are not a good match, so we need to definitely click so that the team can jump on board with you as the doctor. Position is open starting February 1. I look forward to discussing this opportunity with you!
